What is DMAE Over the past few years DMAE has become very popular for skin health. It is believed that by increasing the skin's pathways for acetylcholine, DMAE increases the ability of skin cells to contract, improving skin texture. Our DMAE Smooth Skin Formula is a unique formulation that contains DMAE, and collagen amino acids. This product has been designed to capitalize on DMAE's skin benefits, and contains important and proven ingredients for skin and collagen support.
The following additional ingredients for skin repair and maintenance have been added to this specialized formula,; vitamin C, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Vitamin E, collagen amino acids (l-Lysine, l-Proline, ) Aloe vera gel 200:1 Concentrate.
What is DMAE?
DMAE (Dimethylaminoethanol) is a chemical naturally produced in the human brain. It is thought to be used by the body in converting choline to the neurotransmitter, acetylcholine (i.e., it is a precursor to acetylcholine). This is the basis for thinking that supplementing with DMAE will enhance brain activity.)

What is Collagen?
Possessing great tensile strength, collagen functions in a manner that is very different from many other types of proteins. For example, it can be found both inside and outside of cells. Collagen fibers are important in contributing to the external structure of cells. However, they are present on the inside of some cells as well.
Collagen works hand-in-hand with elastin in supporting the body’s tissues. Basically, it gives body tissues form and provides firmness and strength; elastin gives the same body tissues much needed flexibility. This combination of collagen and elastin is very important in many parts of the body, including, but not limited to, the lungs, bones, and tendons. Even the blood vessels rely on both collagen and elastin.
Often, collagen is discussed in relation to the skin. It works with keratin to provide the skin with strength, flexibility, and resilience. As people age, however, collagen degradation occurs, leading to wrinkles. As such, it is an important substance for those looking for ways to fight the visible effects of aging on the skin. Some skincare professionals actually advise people on ways to stimulate the production of collagen in skin cells.
In addition to being so important in the body, collagen also has many medical uses. It is used in cosmetic surgery procedures and is sold as a supplement created for joint mobility. It is even used in treating and managing serious burns.
Aloe Vera Gel?
Aloe Vera gel is beneficial to treat any kinds of burns, herpes, pimples, diaper rash, cuts, allergies, insect bites, psoriasis, acne, athlete’s foot, muscular pains, eczema, bruises, cuts and wounds, furuncles and scleroderma.
Aloe has been well known for centuries for its healing properties, and both oral intake and topical dressings have been documented to facilitate healing of any kind of skin wound, burn, or scald - even speeding recovery time after surgery.
Hyaluronic acid.
Hyaluronic acid is a naturally-occurring substance that's present in every tissue of the body, with highest concentration in connective tissues (such as the skin and cartilage). Hyaluronic acid assists with moisture retention, binding water molecules to cells for enhanced lubrication, cushioning and support. Hyaluronic acid helps the skin retain moisture and promotes natural rejuvenation, while also contributing to the restoration of viscoelasticity and reduction of sun-induced damage (including wrinkles) to the skin. It's also believed to support improved overall skin appearance.
